The Israeli government on Tuesday issued a travel advisory for Israelis in Turkey due to high chances of terrorist threat targeting Israeli, Jewish interests in the country, Xinhua reported.

The National Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Bureau warned against possible terrorist attacks in the coming days after alerting Turkish authorities of an Iranian plot against Israeli targets.

Turkish NTV network reported a few days ago about a letter from Israel's Mossad agency sent to Turkey's National Intelligence Organization, warning of the arrival of four Iranians whom the Mossad believed to be Iranian Revolutionary Guards preparing for an attack.

The report also added that the Mossad believed the four Iranians were carrying weapons with them.

Although diplomatic relations between the Israeli and Turkish governments have been strained since 2010, Israel still maintains an embassy in the capital and a consulate in the city of Instanbul.
