After expanding the production capacity at its Bandar Abbas refinery, Iran plans to increase its daily petrol production by 6 million liters a day.
When the Bandar Abbas project is finished, it will produce an additional 2.5 million liters of regular petrol, 3.5 million liters of super blend petrol and 7.8 million liters of fuel oil a day.
Work on the refinery complex is being done to resolve problems with petrol production, increased capacity, developing the import-export system for petroleum products and building new oil docks.
