17 February 2012 [15:35] - Today.Az
On Friday the Labour Party of Georgia will hold a protest action in front of the Georgian parliament against the falsification of future elections, the leader of the Labour party Shalva Natelashvili said. "The bloody regime prepares for another rigged election," he added.
"The electoral law in practice is a code of falsification. The electoral commission members are Saakashvili's slaves and the 73 majority shareholders are Saakashvili's errand boys. All this is a real threat which we must get rid of,as we need to force the regime to back down, force change to the Electoral Act and make them abandon the majority shareholders. Otherwise Saakashvili will stay and nothing will help us." Mr Natelashvili said.
"We began the protests in the autumn, continued in Washington and will hold a protest against the rigged elections on February 17," he added.
