The parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan led by speaker of the MIlli Majlis Ogtay Asadov left for Saint Petersburg on Wednesday to attend the meeting of the Council of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly.

Discussions at the event will revolve around observation mission in Kyrgyz presidential elections, international conference dedicated to the Nurnberg process, Neva environmental congress and results of the seminar “CIS: achievements, problems and prospects”

The delegation will join the seminar for international election and referendum observers and meeting of the CIS PA standing commission on political matters and international cooperation.

During the visit, Asadov is scheduled to meet Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the Ukraine`s Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin and heads of delegations.
