Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday met with the members of Italy-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group led by head of the group, Senator Rossana Boldi.
The sides discussed Azerbaijan-Italy relations, noting importance of expansion of inter-parliamentary ties.
Mammadyarov stressed the visit of Italian parliamentarians would contribute to development of political, economic, humanitarian and cultural relations between the two countries. Azerbaijani Minister briefed the Italian delegation on negotiation process over Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The Italian parliamentarians highly praised current potential of Azerbaijan and implemented projects.
