Iran will support Azerbaijan's candidacy for a non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council (UNSC) during the elections, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Behrami.
Behrami said Azerbaijan's non-permanent membership in the UNSC meets the region's interests, the Iranian embassy reported.
