Azerbaijan has all chances for success, Armenian political analyst Stepan Grigoryan said today.
"The country, possessing such an intellectual potential, like Azerbaijan, has all of the chances for success," the director of the Armenian Analytical Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation said in Baku during the "Azerbaijan - Eastern Partnership: Regional Challenges and New Opportunities" forum, which is organized by the Azerbaijani Presidential Center for Strategic Studies.
He added that meetings are important to facilitate relations between society and government.
"Our countries are facing challenges," he said. "But I do not think that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is complicated. I do not think that it will be resolved for a long time. All of the countries in the South Caucasus have different visions of threats. There are many factors that separate our future."
Armenia faced its biggest problems with Turkey, he said. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan is a more flexible country and has no foreign enemies. The political analyst added,the CSTO, including Armenia, is not an effective format for security.
"Azerbaijan is working with NATO and connects its strategic future with Turkey," he stressed.
