Azerbaijan's ambassador to Bulgaria Emil Karimov has presented his credentials to President Georgi Parvanov. President Parvanov had a conversation with ambassador Karimov. The Bulgarian leader praised cooperation between the two countries in various spheres, particularly energy one.
He added Azerbaijan and Bulgaria had great potential to develop ties even more.
Parvanov also said he had friendly relations with Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev. For his part, Emil Karimov said during his tenure he would spare no efforts to contribute to boosting relationship between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian leader asked Karimov to extend his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev. After the meeting, the Azerbaijani ambassador visited the tomb of the Unknown soldier.
