Chief of Azerbaijan State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov met with Germany's newly appointed ambassador Herbert Quelle on Friday. Rahimov informed the diplomat about activities of the Service. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany in the field of migration. Rahimov expressed hope “the current bilateral ties will further develop”.
The German ambassador praised the development of cooperation between the two nations, saying he will work as hard as possible during his tenure to achieve further expanding and strengthening of German-Azerbaijan relations. The meeting also saw a discussion of a number of issues of common interest.
