Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree appointing Najafov Huseyin as consul general of Azerbaijan to Batumi city of Georgia, AzerTAc state news agency reported. Upon another decree by the President, Huseyin Najafov was conferred a diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the first class.
