On Sept. 22, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with a representative of the Secretary of State of the United States for Eurasian energy issues Richard Morningstar, AzerTAc State News Agency reported. Issues related to cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the field of energy and the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were discussed at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Secretary of the United States for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon.
