The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen will visit Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia in late September to learn more about illegal construction in the Gubadli and Zangilan regions, as well as in Khankendi and Shusha, Farhad Badalbeyli, a member of the Azerbaijani community in Nagorno-Karabakh said after a meeting between community representatives and mediators.
"We expressed our protest at the illegal construction in the occupied territories. The mediators said that they were going to visit the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to familiarize themselves with the situation on the spot," Badalbeyli said.
The Azerbaijani community also called on the co-chairmen to include members of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh in the delegation which will visit the occupied territories, Badalbeyli said.
OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen from France, Russia and the U.S. are currently in Baku to hold peace talks.
