Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Danny Ayalon hosted his Azerbaijani counterpart Araz Azimov in Jerusalem today.
The sides discussed a number of issued related to international politics and bilateral relations between the states.
Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister said Israel attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan and intends to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
Ayalon also informed the Azerbaijani counterpart on the situation in Middle East region, focusing on the start of negotiations with the Palestinians and the Iranian nuclear threat.
