“Azerbaijani army is the strongest in the Caucasus for all parameters,” Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Spokesperson Colonel General Eldar Sabiroglu said at a news conference.
Sabiroglu said Azerbaijani army is able to confront enemy in any extreme situation.
He said this is confirmed by international experts and representatives of international institutions.
“Azerbaijani army in any extreme situation is able to confront enemy. Our army will gradually develop and our lands will be liberated,” he said.
He said that Azerbaijan and Armenia are still holding political negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“If the talks fail, the army is ready at any moment to fulfill the state order,” he added.
