"Azerbaijan is a country with a high level of religious and ethnic tolerance, it's wonderful that people, who respect their tradition and religion may live in the country and as the ambassador of Russia it very pleases me," Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said at a meeting with residents of the Ivanovka village of Ismayilli regionĀ  on Aug. 28.

On Aug. 28, the Russian ambassador visited Ivanovka village mainly populated with Russian-speaking people. About 3,200 people live in the village.

During the visit, Dorokhin visited the Museum of Heydar Aliyev, which is to open in October, as well as the collective farm and the school, which entered the list of the 50 best high schools in 2009.

The diplomat met with the chairman of the collective farm, Mikhail Pantserov, and the head of the Ismayilli Region Executive Power.
