According to deputy FM of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov, during the session of the Azerbaijani-Georgian intergovernmental commission, Azerbaijan and Georgia were unable to reconcile their positions on delimitation.

“By results of the session, the sides did not reconcile their positions”, said he adding that “we failed to reach consensus on some sections of border”.

At the same time, according to Khalafov, the sides decided to continue consultations planned to be held in Baku in the near future.

Notably, the talks of the Azerbaijani-Georgian intergovernmental commission on border delimitation and demarcation were held in Tbilisi on June 17-18.
