Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
On his own behalf and on behalf of Azeri people, the Head of State congratulated Macapagal-Arroyo and the Filipino people on the Day of Independence of Philippine.
Azerbaijani President expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Philippine relations will continue to further developing towards cooperation and friendship, and will serve the welfare of both peoples.
