The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan held its regular meeting on Monday, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
The report notes that at the meeting the participants discussed the latest visit of Mikhail Saakashvili to Baku, the socio-political situation in the country, as well as future plans of the party.
The meeting participants also discussed the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan. The party urges to put an end to pressure on Azerbaijanis residing in Iran.
The party praises the fact that the US-Azerbaijani relations had moved to a new level. The party hopes that the first step Obama's administration will take will be the elimination of amendment 907.
