Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece Miltiadis Varvitsiatis, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
Varvitsiatis said he arrived in Azerbaijan together with nearly fifty business people. He emphasized the necessity of extension of relations between the two countries and said the Azerbaijan-Greece business forum held within the visit contributed to this. In his turn, Elmar Mammadyarov said the development of non-oil sector was a priority of the Azerbaijani economy and such visits created addition opportunity for the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Greece. The bilateral relations, Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorny Karabakh, regional and international issues were focused at the meeting.
