Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mamedyarov received Wednesday copies of credentials of newly appointed ambassador of Saudi Arabia in our country Fahd bin Ali al-Dusar, according to the press service for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The sides highly evaluated the level of friendly relations existing between the two countries.
Mamedyarov thanked the Saudi Arabian government for support to Azerbaijan's position in the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, noting that Saudi Aravia, as a really friendly state, was always by Azerbaijan's side in this issue.
In turn, according to the Azerbaijani FM, official Baku supports position of Saudi Arabia in the Middle East crisis and is interested in restoration of peace and stability in Gaza sector and ready to contribute to the restoration of social objects in the region.
Al-Dusar in turn thanked Azerbaijan for support to Saudi Arabia. He said unless Azerbaijani lands are liberated from occupation, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is restored and Nagorno Karabakh conflict is settled on basis of the national interests of Azerbaijan, his country will not establish any diplomatic relations with Armenia.
