Leader of Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deniz Baykal criticized the Turkish government’s policy on Armenia.
Addressing the CHP parliament faction, Baykal said the Turkish government’s policy disappointed Azerbaijan, APA reports. “I was always telling to pay attention to Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, we hurt feelings of Azerbaijan as a result of the government’s policy. President of Azerbaijan refused to visit Turkey. I don’t know whether we achieved reconciliation with Armenia or not, but we achieved to hurt feelings of Azerbaijan”. Baykal said Azerbaijan played very important role not only in the region, but in the world’s energy strategy as well and condemned the guidance of Turkish government by the outside forces.
