The European Court of Human Rights has today passed a decision on the claim of Azerbaijani citizen Mahira Muradova, according to monitoring.az.
The claim fixes violation of articles 3 (prohibition of torture), 6 (right for fair investigation) of the European convention of human rights protection.
In the result of physical pressure by policemen during 2003 October events, Mahira Muradov lost her right eye vision. Under the decision, the state must pay a compensation of EUR 25,000 as a material damage to the woman.
