"An intergovernmental agreement on the project of Nabucco gas pipeline is planned to be signed in Ankara in mid this year", said representative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Selim Kuneralp, according to Anadolu news agency.
He said after the recent gas crisis between Russia and Ukraine, EU started to pay greater attention to implementation of the Nabucco project. He noted that at the meeting in Vienna regarding this project, the sides agreed to sign an intergovernmental agreement on implementation of the Nabucco gas pipeline project in Ankara in mid this year.
