The Youth Organization of the Musavat party is planning to hold a protest in front of the building of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports, said chairman of the youth organization Tural Abbasly.
He said the action will be held because the ministry does not pay attention to the problems of youth.
"We were planning to hold the action on November 27 and in this connection we sent a letter to the Baku mayor's office on November 21. Today we have received a response from the mayor's office, which speaks of the recent success of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The mayor's office does not consider it expedient to hold such events. Thus, the mayor's office has not sanctioned our action.
Yet, we are not going to stop on it. This issue is planned to be discussed with the party leadership. Moreover, we plan to hold a conference with participation of youth organizations of the parties, at which this issue will be discussed. After it, we will start holding unsanctioned protests.
We do not want to made the date of our action public, as the police can prevent us from holding it", announced he.
