Philippe de Villiers, leader of the French party "Movement for France" and member of the European parliament considers the support in recognition of the right of "Nagorno Karabakh" for self-determination to be an important trend in its policy.

"We must help Armenia persuade Azerbaijan that Nagorno Karabakh Armenians have a right to live and develop on their native land and this right is not unimportant in international practice", said de Villier, adding that OSCE Minsk Group co-chair on the resolution of the Karabakh conflict Bernard Fassier supports the same opinion.

"The "Nagorno Karabakh" people must have a right and guarantees for safe life.

"Today this security is ensured by Armenia and "the defense army" of Nagorno Karabakh.

But Baku is a threat for this security and there are no international guarantees for the Karabakh people", said OSCE Minsk Group co-chair of France Bernard Fassier at a press conference in Yerevan.
