Azerbaijani women will vote for the candidacy of working President and chairman of the ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the upcoming presidential elections on October 15, said chairman of the State committee for problems of families, women and children Hijran Huseynova, speaking at the third congress of Azerbaijani women, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
"We (the women) support the political course of Ilham Aliyev and we will vote for him at the upcoming elections", said she.
According to her, the women, who make the greater part of Azerbaijani voters, will take an active part in the elections. The number of voters in Azerbaijan makes over 4.8 mln of people.
