The Lenkoran executive powers and police created obstacles for presidential candidate from the United Popular Front party of Azerbaijan Qudrat Hasanquliyev during his meetings with voters, said plenipotentiary representative of the presidential candidate Elchin Mirzabeyli.
He said the meeting with voters in Lenkoran became the first case when the candidate was not provided with normal conditions.
"Until the last day we were not told in which building our candidate can arrange meetings with voters. We learned about the place of the meeting with voters only in several hours before the meeting.
When we were told that the meeting will be held in one of the halls of the Olympic committee in Lenkoran, it became clear that this complex is too far from the center and we could get there only by car.
Moreover, the complex is under repair and is not suitable for holding mass meetings. On the whole, when the meeting started, electricity was cut there. Therefore, we are planning to appeal to the due instances", noted he.
