"Azerbaijani opposition is not a real power to resist authorities".
The due announcement was made by chairman of Ana Veten party, Milli Medjlis deputy Fazail Aghamaly.
He said, if opposition really wanted to fight with authorities, they should have done it immediately after the presidential elections. For this purpose the opposition leaders should have prepared due programs, concepts, developed a single strategy in 2003, thus attracting people.
"Yet nothing significant has been done in this direction, therefore, it is senseless to conduct meetings today. This is not a method to attract people's attention.
The accusations of the opposition leaders that conditions for political activity have not been created in Azerbaijan are groundless. They can be explained by the absence of unity among opposition", he noted.
