Vyacheslav Nikonov, famous Russian political scientist, President of the Fund "Politics" considers that the soonest resolution of the Karabakh conflict is impossible.
"This is a very complicated conflict. Russia could have intensified its efforts for the resolution, if the directions were clear. I think, this is one of the conflicts, which are hard to settle", noted Nikonov.
The Russian political scientist added that he does not see any optimal solution. "This is the same if one is asked about the optimal solution of the problem of the Jerusalem status.
The optimal is the resolution, which is suitable for all parties of the conflict. I don't see any solution, which both parties of Nagorno Karabakh problem, could accept", Nikonov noted.
