11 March 2008 [13:50] - Today.Az
The Party of Civil Development has sent a letter to the Baku city administration with a request to allocate a site for construction of a head office of the party.
Party chairman Ali Aliyev told Day.Az that the said appeal has been submitted in line with the law.
"As is known, the city administration allocates sites for construction of shops, private and other establishments. In this case our party also demands allocation of a site for construction of its central office from its own funds. No questions should emerge here.
However, the city administration refused to do it, saying that the distribution of territories is beyond its powers. Meanwhile, we are aware of our rights and currently we study legislation and gather information. In case our version is correct we will file a claim against the city administration to the district court", A.Aliyev said.
