Armenian Prime Minister Serj Sarkisyan rules out the forced resolution of the Karabakh conflict.

"Azerbaijan has made announcements on purchase of arms and the forced resolution of the Karabakh conflict, however, talks on the peaceful resolution of the conflict are being held", he told reporters in Yerevan.

Sarkisyan said he is optimistic on the case and considers that normal civilized logics will win and Karabakh problem will be settled peacefully.

Commenting on the events on the border, Sarkisyan announced that situation is restless there and Azerbaijani side managed to occupy one of the Armenian armed positions, which was later taken back.

"We offered the Azerbaijani Minister of Defense to stop provocation and give up our positions and received negative responce. But I would like to inform that this position is currently under our control and the enemy has given up with numerous casualties", the Prime Minister said.
