Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State Matthew Bryza arrived on a two-day visit to Azerbaijan Monday evening.
The due information has been provided by Novosti-Azerbaijan, with reference to the press service for the US Embassy to Azerbaijan.
In the framework of the visit, M.Bryza will meet with country's officials in Baku. The meetings will discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation as well as energy issues.
Matthew Bryza is also to meet with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov, Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev.
On March 5 Bryza will be received by country's President Ilham Aliyev. The sides will discuss cooperation between the two countries, including in energy sector.
