"Recognition of Kosovo's independence may lead to defreeze of conflicts on the post-Soviet area and unrecognized formations, created on this basis".
The due announcement was made by member of the Russian State Duma Committee for CIS affairs Konstantin Zatulin.
He said the recognition of formations on the post-Soviet area by official Moscow, in particular, the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, following Kosovo precedent is possible.
"This case will involve not only Russia. Unrecognized states have their own friends. Armenia may undertake the step in case with Nagorno Karabakh. Perhaps, not only Armenia. As for recognition of Nagorno Karabakh's independence, the outcome with be defined by the egoism of participants".
He considers that it is necessary to recognize the unrecognized states on the area of the former USSR to prevent bloodshed which may start with conflict resumption.
"Each side "adopting resolutions" should base on the principle "don't violate" peace in the region".
