A regular session of the Musavat party divan was held today.
Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the party that during the session the Musavat activists expressed regret that the idea of the meeting organization on the Khojaly tragedy, was not accepted duly by the powers.
The session participants considered deterioration of freedom of speech in the country. Thus, Azadlyg opposition newspaper's reporter Agil Khalil, was beaten by a group of people, while fulfilling his professional duty.
"The Musavat party disapproves such an attitude to mass media representatives. It is necessary to find guilty, as a democratic society is impossible without a freedom of speech.
Moreover, the political structure requires the release of arrested reporters-Eynulla Fatullayev, Mirza Sakit and Ganimat Zahid", the press service notes.
