There is a plan to discuss the implementation of the CIS improvement concept, migration, as well as to hold bilateral meetings at an informal summit of the CIS in Moscow on February 22 to be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The due announcement was made by Day.Az with reference to AzerTaj.

Andrei Denisov, first chairman of Russian Foreign Minister, noted that the issue of the CIS improvement is very important for all countries.

"The proposed discussion of the issue of migration is also important and therefore the Coordination Council of CIS Migration services, which gathered in Minsk, was created in January. I see that these issues are of the same importance for Azerbaijan and Russia", he noted.

According to Denisov, perhaps the presidents will work out a small plan for the next year and for future. At the same time, the diplomat said that the informal summit is a good chance for bilateral meetings and all presidents have issues they would like to discuss.

On the whole, any CIS summit is a great political event in the lives of our countries and the informal summit is a great and special event because it is informal.

"The informal summit means the session without an exact agenda, which allows the CIS Presidents to express their views on any topics, which they consider necessary. The idea to arrange the summit was proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He does not hide the intention to act as a president and say farewell to his counterparts and thank them for join work", the Russian diplomat said.

Andrei Denisov also announced that the session will be held by President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, as he is the CIS chairman, but it is President Vladimir Putin who invites.
