A regular round of talks between the representatives of Azerbaijani powers and experts of the CoE Venice Commission is held in Baku.
The talks are connected with introduction of amendments to the Election Code.
APA reports that Serget Kuznetsov, Venice Commission expert for elections and referendum and Eiward Angels, Venice Commission rapporteur on Election Code of Azerbaijan arrived in Baku yesterday for participation in the talks.
According to Kuznetsov, preliminary talks which discussed the election lists, were held yesterday. The main part of the talks to consider other issues has started today. The Venice Commission experts met with PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan Andres Herkel and Eugenia Zhivkova, currently visiting Baku. The meeting participants exchanged views on the talks with Azerbaijani powers.
