Mirza Sakit, reporter of the Azadlyg newspaper, kept in correctional ward No 14, has stopped hunger strike today.
The due information was provided by Mehman Sadygov, chief of Department for Public Relations of the Penitentiary Service under the Ministry of Justice.
He said M.Sakit sent a notification to the prison administration about suspension of the hunger strike.
It should be reminded that the imprisoned reporter resumed hunger strike on February 3 as a protest against not being transferred to the medical center.
