The NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) will hold "Rose-Roth" seminar on “Security in the Caspian region” in Baku on March 6-8, according to Ziyafet Asgerov, first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and head of Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA.
The Head of the delegation said that they will carry out discussions on security on the Caspian Sea, transportation of hydrocarbon reserves to Euro-Atlantic, security of oil and gas pipelines and other issues.
Mr. Asgerov said 80-member delegation is expected to participate in the event.
“NATO PA President Jos? Lello will pay his first official visit to Azerbaijan for participating in the seminar. Moreover, NATO PA Secretary General David Hobbs will also visit our country for participating in the seminar,” he said.
