The British-Azerbaijani Society held its annual meeting Tuesday at Azerbaijan`s Embassy in London.
Addressing the event, Lord Fraser, Co-chairman of the Society, spoke of its work in 2007.
He said events held by the society last year were attended by top-ranking state officials from both countries and played important role in strengthening British-Azerbaijani relations.
Lord Fraser praised Azerbaijani Co-chair of the society Nargiz Pashayeva`s contribution to organizing an event marking the tenth anniversary of the British-Azerbaijan Society in Baku.
The meeting ended with the adoption of a plan of action for 2008.
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Great Britain Fakhraddin Gurbanov was present at the meeting.
