The frontier troops of Azerbaijan will conform to the NATO standards, chief of the Frontier Troops, general-lieutenant Elchin Guliyev told a news conference at the State Frontier Service.
Elchin Guliyev stated that certain staff changes have already taken place.
This promotes successful substitution of military men with professionals. As provided, number of professionals in 2007 equaled to the number of the accepted in five years totally, which enables to staff the State Frontier Service with professionals.
Currently, these works are about completion at the border-check points and Coast Guard.
