A meeting between the representatives of the Department for consular affairs and the consular services of embassies, accredited in Azerbaijan, was held in the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, as reported by the head of the Ministry's press service, Khazar Ibragimov.
He said the meeting was attended by the representatives of the embassies of Turkey, Germany, France, Israel, Greece, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Korea, Japan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and others countries in Azerbaijan.
"During this unofficial meeting, Azerbaijan was represented by the chief of the consular department of the Foreign Ministry Nadir Guseynov. The meeting was held because the representatives of some international organizations and embassies had put forward proposals on the facilitation of visa regime. I think that such meetings will have a positive influence on the settlement of such issues", Kh. Ibragimov said.
