Delegation of Azerbaijani parliament led by speaker Ogtay Asadov will be on visit to St. Petersburg on May 30-June 1, parliament’s press secretary Akif Maharramov told a briefing.
The aim of the visit is to participate in 28th plenary session of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Ogtay Asadov is expected to address the session and have several bilateral meetings. Ogtay Asadov is scheduled to meet with speakers of different parliaments and President of Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rene van der Linden. Meeting with Armenian representatives are not expected in the framework of bilateral meetings. Maharramov said that issue on the Nagorno Karabakh problem will be raised during the meetings. International conference on "Intercultural and interreligiuos dialogue" is expected to be held in the framework of the visit. APA
