Mazahir Panahov, chairman of Central Election Commission has left for Strasbourg to participate in the debates of Venice Commission on the amendments to the Electoral Code.
CEC chairman, government and parliament officials will participate in the debates on the introduction of amendments to the Electoral Code to be held on June 1. Mazahir Panahov is to come back to Baku on June 3, APA reports. Among the proposals of Venice Commission, the establishment of election commissions on parity is in the first place.
