Deputy minister expressed concern about often-occurred fires in the occupied territories.

"These fires will damage quality of the soil, state of plants, living condition. The internally displaced persons will suffer difficulties caused by these fires after they are brought back to their original lands. Azerbaijan has been taking preventive measures on the very first day when the fires emerged. This issue was raised in the UN last year, and the UN adopted a special resolution regarding this problem later on. OSCE assessment commission visited the region in accordance with corresponding recommendations and instructions asserted in the UN resolution and our experts also participated in the composition of that mission. Occurrence of fire, their destructive influence, damages were calculated and asserted in their reports. Azerbaijan continues analyzing the situation," the deputy minister underlined, APA reports.
