Delegation of the French Senate's France-Caucasus Friendship Group led by Senator Ambroise Dupont met with Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Bahar Muradova and members of the working group of Azerbaijan-France Inter-parliamentary ties.

By establishment of diplomatic relations Azerbaijan and France have signed some 20 important documents, Muradova stressed. Developing are trade relations between the two countries, expanding are cooperation in the energy sphere.

Muradova congratulated the guests with the successful presidential elections in France, expressing hope that friendship and cooperation between the two countries would develop further.

Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis said that France as a co-chair of the OSCE MG can do a lot in solution of this problem.
