"Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh" Public Union sent a protest letter to the embassies of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries in Azerbaijan and OSCE Office in Baku in protest against US company SEMA preparing general plan of Shusha, Public Union chief Nizami Bahmanov told.
The letter says that 547 architectural monuments, including 5 world, 393 country and 149 local architectural monuments, 205 archeological monuments, 927 libraries, 808 clubs, 85 musical schools, 12 monuments, 22 museums, 4 photo galleries, 10 cultural and rest parks, 4 state theaters and 2 concert places were burnt, destroyed in Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenian Armed Forces. "Though representatives of international organizations and Minsk Group co-chairs saw these atrocities, illegalities, they have not taken any preventive measures. We condemn the company of the US, Azerbaijan’s strategic partner, supporting this and demand the US to investigate the problem and stop the company's illegal activity in Azerbaijani territory," the letter says. The US Ambassador is asked to take a stance on the problem before the international community and call on Armenians to refrain from illegal acts, APA reports.
