Azerbaijan's parliament approved the 2006 report of the government.
MP Musa Guliyev said that the report does not deal with fighting corruption and regarded it as a negative case. Vidadi Mammadov said that much attention is paid to education in the country but remarked that the government does not react to the opening of a number of branches of foreign universities in the country. Panah Huseyn was not satisfied with the report. Igbal Agazadeh said the figures in the report do not reflect reality. Vice-speaker Bahar Muradova said that those who are against the report are wrong and asked not to confuse Azerbaijani authorities with the Popular Front Party-Musavat that reigned in 1992. Vice-speaker said that the report is praiseworthy and the figures reflect the reality. The government's report was approved with five parliamentarians against. APA
