They spoke about the prospects of expansion of economic relations between the two countries and underlined the importance of focusing attention on the spheres of mutual concern.

They will focus on Azerbaijan's participation in the projects implemented in Tajikistan, take into consideration Azerbaijan's practice in the spheres of oil, gas, energy and transport.

They also stressed the necessity of expansion of intergovernmental legal contracts.

Establishing joint enterprises with participation of Azerbaijani and Tajikistan’s companies was also discussed at the meeting.

Following this, Ilham Aliyev participated in the reception given in his honor by Tajikistan's president.

Azerbaijani President will meet with speaker of the Upper House of the parliament Mahammad Ubaydullayev and visit cultural and historical monuments of Dushanbe on March 16. APA
