He is holding protocol meetings with Azerbaijani leadership and Ministries.

"I will be on leave after returning to Tbilisi," the Ambassador said.

He added that his future activity will be connected with energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"The main dimension of our embassy's activity was energy projects. I intend to work in this sphere," he said.

Zurab Gumberidze worked in Azerbaijan for 12 years, 10 years he was Ambassador.

It is not known when Nikoloz Natbiladze, newly-appointed Georgian ambassador will arrive in Baku.
