A trial of 15 Al Qaida members found guilty in Articles 120.2.3, 120.2, 279.1, 228.3, 315.1 and others of the Criminal Code will be held in Supreme Court on Dec 18.
A gang composed of Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, Yemenite citizens trained in Pankisi camps, Georgia. They are found guilty in terror acts, carrying arms, Nesimi Police Department officer Movlan Alibeyli's assassination etc. By Grievous Crimes Court verdict gang head Hajiyev Arif Hasanbeyovich was sentenced to life-term, Hajiverdiyev Emil Adil oglu to 10 years, Hamdan Mohammed Ahmed Salem, Chankayev Gadji Ibrahimovich, Abdulkerimov Abdulla Magomedovich and aliyev Shirin Sedri oglu to 7 years, Berkov Aslan Hesenovich, Lslamov Isa Azrailovich, Abdulhemedov Karanay Zaulbasarovich, Gaziyev Arsen Yunusovich, Asadullayev Jembek Junaitovich, Delibashlar Mustafa Ahmed, Inan Emin Ahmed, Hayal Seljuk Husnu and Karakash Juma Shikhimam to 5 years in jail. Gang member G. Chankayev was extradited to Russia and is under investigation, APA informs.
